“Mike's” is known to have the best donuts around. His hand-cut, hot, honey-dipped donuts are unrivalled. The secret recipe (created in 1969) has been protected by Bruce and Maria Weinograd who have owned Mike’s Donuts since 1976.
Mike’s has grown from being a very special donut shop on Mission Hill to become a very special breakfast, lunch, smoothie, ice cream AND donut shop on Mission Hill… and now a "Mike's" is at the Forest Hills T station, too!
Their menu still includes the famous honey-dipped donut, of course, and other breakfast pastries and muffins. Mike’s is also known for the “Brucester” a hearty breakfast sandwich, especially popular among medical students – and great coffee, another important student staple.
Mike’s also offers a full line of soups and sandwiches made fresh in their own kitchen every day and seasonal treats like smoothies, soft serve ice cream, flavored coffees, tea and cocoa. Mike’s is now your “All day donut shop!”
As they approach 40 years in this business, Bruce, Maria and their friendly staff are particularly pleased to have friends all over the world thanks to the paths so many interesting people have taken up Mission Hill… and right into their shop.
